2026
New York, NY — [July 27, 2026] — The ADAA (Art Dealers Association of America) today announces the 63 exhibiting galleries participating in the inaugural ADAA Fair, heralding a new era for the Association's annual expo. Taking place November 13–16, 2026 at the Park Avenue Armory, with a Preview Gala on November 12 benefiting the Whitney Museum of American Art, the ADAA Fair continues the tradition of excellence and connoisseurship that has long been a hallmark of the Association and its members. This relaunched fair is the first ADAA Fair presented during Executive Director Kinsey Robb's tenure.
The ADAA Fair is distinguished by its focused, highly curated approach. The 2026 edition unites ADAA member galleries from across the United States. Admission to the Association is earned through one of the most rigorous peer-review processes in the field, reflecting a shared commitment to research, ethical practice, and the highest professional standards. Collectively, the exhibitors draw on generations of specialization across historical, modern, and contemporary art, illustrating the reach and strength of the American gallery community.
“One of the great pleasures of visiting an art fair is the opportunity to experience an extraordinary range of works, from historical to contemporary, while engaging directly with the people whose expertise, scholarship, and dedication bring those works to life,” says Kinsey Robb, Executive Director of the ADAA. “For more than three decades, our annual fair has created space for those conversations to happen. While the ADAA Fair marks a new chapter, the qualities that have long defined our fair remain unchanged: thoughtful presentations, genuine dialogue, and a collegial community of galleries committed to excellence. Those experiences matter because they deepen our understanding of art, strengthen relationships across the field, and remind us that galleries play an essential role in supporting the arts and enriching our cultural life.”
Drawing from the breadth and depth of the ADAA’s national membership, the roster convenes established leaders, multigenerational gallery businesses, and emerging voices. Participating galleries, selected from the ADAA’s approximately 200 members based across 12 states, represent 23 U.S. cities; from New York, Boston, and Philadelphia to Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, the exhibitor roster offers unique access to the artists, leadership, and perspectives shaping the field today. The ADAA Fair also reinforces the role member galleries play as not only commercial entities but also patrons, connectors, and stewards of cultural memory.
For the first time this year, the ADAA Fair is honored to welcome the Whitney Museum of American Art as its beneficiary partner. Proceeds from the Preview Gala on November 12 will benefit the museum's education and artistic programs. This year, the Fair is collaborating with the inaugural Art Week NYC, hosted by Artforum, Art in America, and ARTnews, through a cross-promotional effort that highlights New York's vibrant contemporary art community.
The 2026 edition includes founding ADAA members, including Hirschl & Adler and Kraushaar Galleries, alongside galleries that participated in the Fair's inaugural edition in 1989, including Berggruen Gallery, GRAY, and Schoelkopf Gallery. They will be joined by a dozen galleries making their ADAA Fair debut, including Alexander Berggruen, Sargent's Daughters, Hollis Taggart, Piero Atchugarry Gallery, and Nicodim, as well as several of the Association's newest member galleries, including AH Arts, David Lusk Gallery, and Luis De Jesus Los Angeles.
“The ADAA Fair has always been known for the care and thoughtfulness our member galleries bring to every presentation,” says Mary Ryan, Chair of the ADAA Fair Committee. “This year's exhibitors have assembled an exceptional range of presentations that showcase the depth of expertise and artistic perspectives across our membership, offering collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts an exceptional opportunity to engage with leading dealers in an environment designed for meaningful discovery and conversation."

(New York, NY - April 15, 2026) - ADAA (Art Dealers Association of America), a nonprofit membership organization representing 200 of the nation's leading fine art galleries, announced today that the Whitney Museum of American Art (the Whitney) will be the beneficiary of the inaugural ADAA Fair, to take place November 12-16, 2026 at the Park Avenue Armory.
“Our decision to honor the Whitney Museum as our philanthropic partner at the first ADAA Fair marks a defining moment for our organization,” said Mary Ryan, ADAA Fair Committee Chair. “We made a strategic decision to focus our Fair on the visual arts in the most impactful way possible, reflecting the mission of our organization. We are proud to partner with a museum that plays such a vital role in shaping the history and future of American art.”
“This initiative builds on ADAA's long-standing commitment to creating meaningful philanthropic opportunities in support of the visual arts,” commented Susan Sheehan, Chair of the ADAA Board. “It is particularly consequential at a time when arts institutions are looking to broaden their sources of financial support. We are delighted to be contributing to that effort and thrilled that the Whitney Museum will be this year's beneficiary.”
The ADAA Fair's 2026 Preview Gala, scheduled for Thursday, November 12, will bring together artists, gallerists, curators, advisors, collectors, and supporters of the arts within the historic setting of the Park Avenue Armory, and the funds raised from the event will support the Whitney's education and artistic programs. This initiative builds on ADAA's long-standing commitment to creating meaningful philanthropic opportunities in support of the visual arts. The Preview Gala funds are distinct from those raised through the ADAA Foundation.
“We are deeply honored to be named as a beneficiary of the ADAA Fair,” said Scott Rothkopf, the Alice Pratt Brown Director of the Whitney Museum of American Art. “The ADAA has long played an essential role in supporting the nation's leading galleries, all of whom are deeply committed to advancing the work of artists, and shares our belief in the important role that institutions and communities play in shaping the cultural life of this country. We are grateful for this meaningful partnership and generous support, which recognizes the Whitney's role in championing American art and making it accessible to broad and diverse audiences.”
Kinsey Robb, Executive Director of the ADAA, remarked, “This partnership reflects a thoughtful evolution of the ADAA Fair and a mission-driven approach to how we support both our member galleries and the institutions that shape the field at large. It allows us to align our efforts more directly with the broader cultural ecosystem, while remaining grounded in the standards and values that define the ADAA. We are pleased to be working with the Whitney in a way that advances that shared commitment.”
“On behalf of the Whitney's Board of Trustees, I want to express our sincere gratitude to the ADAA Fair for selecting the Museum as beneficiary,” added Fern Kaye Tessler, Chair of the Whitney's Board of Trustees. “Their support is both generous and deeply meaningful, underscoring the importance of sustained philanthropic investment in the visual arts. We are proud to be part of this important new chapter and look forward to the partnership ahead.”
